The Plesk WordPress Toolkit provides a seamless interface for managing WordPress installations, themes, plugins, and, most importantly, administrative functions like resetting passwords. If you've lost your WordPress password, the WordPress Toolkit in Plesk makes it easy to reset. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Requirements

1. WordPress website installed via Plesk.

Steps

1. Log in to Plesk

Open your web browser and navigate to your Plesk login URL. Enter your Plesk login credentials and press "Log in".

2. Access the WordPress Toolkit

Once you've logged in, you should see a sidebar on the left side of the screen. Locate the "WordPress" option and click on it. You'll now see a list of all WordPress installations that are managed by your Plesk panel.

3. Choose the Correct WordPress Installation

From the list of WordPress installations, locate the one for which you want to reset the password. Click on the domain name, which will lead you to the management page for that specific WordPress installation.

4. Access the Setup Link

In the WordPress installation's management page, you'll see a "Setup" link under the preview photo. Click on the "Setup" link and you'll be able to reset the password for your WordPress website.

5. Reset the Password

In the "New password" field enter your new password or click on the "generate" button to have one made for you, then click on the "Change" button at the bottom to complete.

You can now log into your WordPress site with the new password.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues while resetting the password, please check the following:

1. Make sure you're choosing the correct WordPress installation in Plesk.

2. Ensure that the new password meets WordPress's security standards: it should be at least twelve characters long, including numbers, letters, and special characters.

3. If you're unable to access Plesk or WordPress Toolkit, please reach out to DataPacket for assistance.

By following these steps, you should be able to reset your WordPress password in Plesk using the WordPress Toolkit successfully.
