SPF Records

When using an SPF record it is important to specify the include parameter (include:interlayer.net) as shown below. A standard SPF record with only the MX specified may cause mail to fail or be classified as spam. We utilize multiple SMTP servers and the include statement designates these servers to send email on behalf of your domain.

Include statement: include:interlayer.net

Sample SPF record: v=spf1 mx include:interlayer.net ~all

If you do not fully understand the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) we recommend that you remove the SPF record entirely. We recommend SPF only be used in cases where your domain is under an active mail attack.
